Is the maximum drawdown limit trailing or static?

The maximum drawdown limit is trailing and will increase as the account balance increases. Any increase in the account balance from the starting balance will be treated as a new high water mark for the account. The high water mark is capped at the initial account balance of the account. The high water mark value for the limit will be maintained even if the value of the account balance decreases.
