# OANDA Global Markets

**Q: What happens to my OANDA Global Markets account? **

A: Signal Providers who have an OANDA Global Markets account can continue to trade on the self funded account as it remains fully active and unaffected. OANDA Global Markets continues to focus on providing exceptional, award-winning brokerage services. 

 

**Q: I opened an OANDA Global Markets account specifically for the Prop Trader program. Can I close it now?**

**A:** While you can close it, we recommend keeping it open. OANDA remains a key partner in the FTMO Group’s broader vision for the future of active trading. Many traders find value in maintaining a live OANDA Global Markets brokerage account alongside their prop trading activities to execute diverse trading strategies.

 

**Q: Will future rewards from my new FTMO account be sent to my OANDA Global Markets account?**

**A:** No, OANDA Global Markets and FTMO operate on different systems. All future FTMO rewards will be managed directly through FTMO’s industry-leading infrastructure and their specific payout methods.
